Area kickoff for Independence Day Celebrations  --   a rousing, FREE concert of patriotic and film music by the Piedmont Wind Symphony as well as serenading by award-winning  “Sound Counsel” barbershop quartet.

FREE area kick-off concert for Independence Day, Fourth of July,  celebration.  Family-friendly concert and parking are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. They may bring a picnic if they like. Food trucks will be on site, also.  Refreshments such as soda, water, beer and wine are available with all proceeds supporting the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Free American flags and pinwheels to first 500 attendees

Summer Park Series performances sponsored by The Arts Council and The County of Forsyth are held at Forsyth County’s two parks and concert venues, Triad Park and Tanglewood Park. Event sponsors this summer include Publix Super Markets Charities, Kaplan Early Learning Company, AlphaBEST Education, Salem Smiles and Bob King Automotive.
