Faculty/Staff RecognitionTiffany Adams, assistant director of clinical education in the Department of Physical Therapy, and Dominick Rolle, assistant professor of English, have been named Triad Business Journal 2019 "40 Under Forty" honorees. They will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Greensboro on Feb. 21.

WSSU Fall 2018 Dean's List Announced

Nearly 1,900 Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) students made the fall 2018 Dean's List, according to the Office of the Registrar.

Eligibility to be named to the Dean’s List at the end of each semester is based on a student's status as a full-time student (12 semester hours and above). Dean’s List honors are awarded only to those students who earn a scholastic grade point average of 3.0 or higher in 12 or more credit hours of graded coursework at WSSU in an academic semester, with no grade below C and no incomplete (I) grades on the report.

Whitt-Glover Named Executive Director for Health Disparities Research Center

Dr. Melicia Whitt-Glover, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in health disparities research, has been named the executive director for the Center of Excellence in Eliminating Health Disparities (CEEHD) at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU).

Whitt-Glover joined WSSU in 2015 as a visiting scholar in the School of Health Sciences (SOHS) before becoming the interim director of the research center a year later.
